Top resorts in Cabo for a sunny getaway anytime

Discover five standout Cabo resorts, from family-friendly stays and swimmable beaches to adults-only relaxation and affordable all-inclusive options

For travelers looking for an easy getaway, all-inclusive resorts can be especially appealing, since meals, drinks and activities are often bundled into the stay. Depending on what kind of vacation you have in mind, there’s a Cabo resort for everything from family-friendly pool days to adults-only relaxation and beachside romance.

Reader’s Digest rounded up some of the destination’s standout all-inclusive resorts, looking at what each property does particularly well. Some lean heavily into food and wellness, while others are built around activities, nightlife or simply having a gorgeous stretch of sand nearby. There are also options for travelers who want to keep an eye on the budget without giving up the resort experience.

One important caveat: Cabo’s beaches aren’t universally swimmable. Several of the resorts featured by Reader’s Digest sit on beautiful waterfronts where swimming isn’t recommended, while others have direct access to swimmable beaches. That can make a surprisingly big difference when you’re picturing your ideal sunny escape.

Here are five Cabo resorts that stand out for different kinds of travelers, from families and couples to beach lovers and budget-conscious vacationers.

If you want a Cabo resort where there’s always something else to do, Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos is a strong contender. According to Reader’s Digest, guests can choose among four pools, including an infinity pool, an adults-only pool with a swim-up bar, and a kids pool with slides and a mini water park. There are also organized activities such as water aerobics, beachfront yoga, dance classes and trivia, plus live entertainment in the evenings.

The resort is particularly well suited to families because children can spend time at the supervised KidZ Club while adults take advantage of the spa or simply enjoy some downtime. That doesn’t mean couples or groups without kids will necessarily feel out of place, though. With seven restaurants and seven bars and lounges, there are plenty of places to eat, drink and linger without having to leave the property.
