Iran announces end to attacks on Israel

Iran on Monday announced an end to its latest ballistic missile attacks on Israel, with the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) telling state media that it was a “complete success.”

Iran’s military warned, however, that operations would resume if Israel restarts attacks on Lebanon, which has been a condition of the ceasefire between Iran and the U.S. since April. Iran said its latest attacks on Israel were in response to “atrocities and mischief” after Israel attacked parts of Beirut earlier on Sunday.

“The fake Zionist regime and its supporters must learn a lesson from this response,” the Khatam Al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, the operational command for the IRGC, told the Fars news agency.

The IRGC also accused the U.S. of giving Israel the “greenlight” to carry out its “malicious actions” on the people of Lebanon.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) stated that it “completed a large-scale strike on strategic defense systems,” along with a petrochemical complex in Mahshahr in southwestern Iran. Sirens had blared across parts of Israel following Iran’s missile........
