Family-owned brewery wins county title for second year running
West Norfolk’s Lynn Brewery won the Champion Bottle Conditioned Beer of Norfolk 2026 title for its Southgates Stout - a 4.7pc oatmeal stout - following its success in the 2025 competition.
In a joint statement, brewers Jason and Claire said: "We at Lynn Brewery are absolutely delighted.
"This recognition means a great deal to us, particularly following our 2025 win for Lynn Ferry Bitter."
Alan Edwards, chair of the Norfolk Taste Panel, praised their work and said: "Lynn Brewery are a fine example of the growing band of quality small brewers in Norfolk.
"Their beers have shown to be both flavoursome and consistent."
Lynn Brewery is an independent, family-owned brewery in King’s Lynn producing small-batch, hand-bottled craft beer.
Its brews are inspired by the people and places of Lynn, with each bottle label featuring the town’s Custom House.
