New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) unease with Abhijieet Dipke-led Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) and their latest campaign on the condition of Indian schools was on display in Rajasthan and West Bengal last week as the saffron party floundered for a response to the accountability drive.

Dipke last week announced the launch of CJP’s ‘School Thik Karo’ campaign from August 15 to spotlight the abysmal condition of public schools in the country. The party asked people to volunteer and conduct audits in their local schools as part of the campaign to assess the facilities available to students.

“We have made a new Parliament, a new PM house. Why have we not been able to build new schools in our villages? Do we not consider the children of farmers and labourers the future of our country?” Dipke said while launching the campaign last Monday (August 10).
