Canada imposes up to 50% tariffs on US goods from Sept 8 in response to Trump duties

New Delhi: Canada has announced new retaliatory tariffs on US goods worth C$27.6 billion ($19.94 billion), matching the latest duties imposed by Washington as tensions between the two countries continue to grow.

The new Canadian tariffs will take effect on September 8 and cover around 700 products imported from the United States. According to the Canadian government, the duties will range between 15%, 25%........
