A BBC The Apprentice star has promised to NEVER watch the show again - and has demanded Lord Alan Sugar be axed. Amy Anzel has spoken out a week after Marnie Swindells was named the winner of the show.

Ex-The Apprentice star Amy has called for Lord Sugar to be removed from the programme. The former BBC candidate said: "That's a wrap on series 17 of The Apprentice, and that's definitely a wrap on me ever watching the show again.

"It has been so tedious, and as I've said over the past 12 weeks, the show has just completely gone down hill. No one is able to really showcase their business acumen - which has been the case for past several years.

"But it's really gotten worse because I think now the advisors and Lord Sugar are just constantly bashing the candidates. No one ever looks good." She then added: "That's it for me watching The Apprentice. I will never tune in again." On Lord Sugar, she continued: "He just needs to be replaced. He is so archaic in the way he conducts business and talks to the candidates and the whole show just needs a refresh, and a younger more modern entrepreneur in that seat."

Amy has even set up a Change.org petition calling for Lord Sugar's removal. In it, she writes: "It’s time for Lord Sugar to make way for the next generation to take the reigns before The Apprentice is ran into the ground by a poor production team of people who have decided that the show should spend it’s time making a complete mockery of the candidates and being nothing but damaging to British entrepreneurship… at this point the show is verging on bullying it’s own candidates! GET LORD SUGAR OUT!"

The petition has racked up 90 signatures.
