Oreo and BTS are launching a Korean street food-inspired cookie in 80-plus countries

The cookie features a brown sugar pancake-flavored creme and purple wafers — the first time Oreo has used that color

Oreo and BTS announced a limited-edition cookie collaboration on Monday, with the product going on presale June 1 and hitting retail shelves June 8 across more than 80 markets worldwide.

At the center of the cookie is a creme developed to evoke the flavor of hotteok, a Korean street food staple — a warm pancake packed with brown sugar.
