August's 'Blood Moon' Will Have A Partial Eclipse – Where To See It In The UK
It’s been a great month for stargazers.
What a month it’s been for stargazers. Earlier in August, we had an impressive partial solar eclipse, followed by one of the most active nights of the days-long Perseid meteor shower.
And in the wee hours of Friday, 28 August, we’re set to see yet another partial eclipse in parts of the UK – only this time, it’s a lunar kind.
The “sturgeon moon” will appear to have a pinkish glow before the lunar event, too.
What is a “sturgeon moon”?
