Nigel Ford has been awarded a British Empire Medal (BEM) for his services to heritage and the Norfolk community.

The 77-year-old, who lives in Hardingham, is also now the second member of his family to receive a BEM.

His late mother, Brenda Ford, received the honour for 60 years of volunteer work in Wymondham.
