Unblock X Account of Cockroach Janata Party, Delhi High Court Orders

New Delhi: The Delhi high court on Tuesday (July 7) ordered the unblocking of the X account of Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) saying that the Union government’s concern was no longer relevant as the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) (NEET (UG)) re-examination was over.
A bench of Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma allowed the plea of CJP founder Abhijit Dipke.
During the hearing, Solicitor General of India Tushar Mehta said that the primary concern of the Union government was that the satirical party’s posts can lead to chaos among students and parents during the NEET exam, Live Law reported.
