Norway is planning to impose ban on the use of artificial intellgence in schools.

The Norweigian prime minister Jonas Gahr Stoere on friday has announced a near-total ban on generative AI tools in elementary schools to protect children's foundational learning.

Jonas declared the policy change on Friday, june 19 stating that relying on AI tools places young students at risk of skipping essential developmental steps.

The new standards will take effect at the start of the next academic year in late August........
