SAP introduced what it calls the Autonomous Enterprise at its annual Sapphire conference, combining a unified AI platform with an autonomous suite designed to run business processes from start to finish across functions including finance, supply chain, procurement, human capital management, and customer experience.

At the center of the announcement is SAP Business AI Platform, which brings together the company's Business Technology Platform, Business Data Cloud, and Business AI into a single governed environment.
