The collision happened at the junction of Skippon Way and Dussindale Drive in Thorpe St Andrew at 6.35pm on Monday.

An eyewitness said: "Locals have complained recently of "too many learners", with the estate being the closest to the test centre.

"It could've been very different if it had happened in the morning. Loads of kids walk to school around here."

A police spokeswoman confirmed that no one was injured and no arrests were made.

The shunt was resolved at about 8pm.
