9th June will go as a moment of triumph against natural barriers that separated two peoples for centuries, for most of the year. If earlier Ladakh, travelling through Zojila pass, would give tremors to even the best travellers, now almost everyone would wish to drive through the tunnel and walk onto the surface across the barrier. If human relationships are made the primary reference point for evaluating what has happened; it is a moment of great joy and celebration.
