The US is looking to quickly replace the Patriot and THAAD missiles it has used in the ongoing Iran War.

The Department of Defense (DoD) announced this week that it had reached “two pivotal framework agreements” that would help bolster the supply of the Patriot Advanced Capability-3 Missile Segment Enhancement (PAC-3 MSE) and Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) interceptors.

The DoD has agreed to pay General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS) and Lockheed Martin $93.62 billion over seven years to triple PAC-3 MSE production, and quadruple the manufacturing of THAAD interceptors.
