Trump: ‘No plans’ to change Cabinet after GOP midterm losses

President Trump said he has no plans to change up his Cabinet after Democrats took control of the House and Senate in the midterm elections.

Trump, speaking with Fox News late Tuesday night, was asked whether he would make changes to his Cabinet considering the election results.

“No, I don’t think so. Had nothing to do with my Cabinet,” Trump said.

“It was just a point — honestly, look — I’ve been doing a lot of great things for a long time,” he said. “It’s just a point in time. Just a point in time. Just the way it is. There was a mood in the air, I guess.”

Trump has ousted and seen some departures from his Cabinet this year, including the firing of both former Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and former Attorney General Pam Bondi.
