Democrats are actively destroying one of the few among them who is trying to rebuild the party and make it more palatable for future elections.

If there was ever a time for Democrats to begin resolving their civil war, or simply appear united for the sake of optics, it’s now. The party has hit record-low popularity ratings. Rather than effectively attacking President Donald Trump, they are resorting to more of the same doomsday rhetoric that cost them the 2024 election, while in other cases calling for outright violence against Republicans and MAGA supporters. Rather than laying to rest all of the intra-party squabbles and political purity tests, Democrats are still eating their own. Their latest victim might be the one senator with the centrist message and posture toward Trump who could actually lead the party out of the wilderness. (Subscribe to MR.
