Man dies after crash that closed road for several hours overnight

Police, fire ambulance and air ambulance crews were called to the William Frost Way junction in Dereham Road, Costessey at around 12.10am on Saturday, April 4.

A white Fiat Panda had been involved in a single-vehicle collision and the road was closed while emergency services worked at the scene.

The driver, a man in his 90s, was taken to hospital and died a few hours later.

The road remained closed for several hours overnight. According to National Highways it reopened at around 6.30am.

Officers are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or captured relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
