Mini starts pre-orders for Cooper Oxford edition; pays tribute to its roots

Mini has started taking pre-orders for the Cooper Oxford Edition. The special edition is based on Cooper S specification and uses the same 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine as the regular Cooper 3-door.

New Delhi: Mini India has opened pre-bookings for the Cooper Oxford Edition. It is a limited-run version of the hatchback inspired by the brand’s roots in Oxford, UK. The special edition will be offered in the Cooper S specification and uses the same 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine as the regular Cooper 3-door.

The Oxford Edition gives the Cooper a range of design elements inspired by the British Union Jack. Customers can opt between Indigo Sunset Blue and Chilli Red exterior finishes, both paired with Union Jack-themed stripes on the bonnet and tailgate.
