Pacer Harshit Rana has been ruled out of India's upcoming T20I series against Afghanistan and the Asian Games 2026 after suffering a fresh injury issue during match simulation at the BCCI CoE in Bengaluru.

New Delhi: Pacer Harshit Rana has been ruled out of India’s upcoming T20I series against Afghanistan after suffering a fresh injury niggle while undergoing rehab at the BCCI Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru. Rana was named in India’s squad for the three-match series, subject to fitness clearance.

BCCI on Thursday confirmed that Rana has been ruled out of both the upcoming T20I series against Afghanistan and the Asian Games 2026.
