Keely Butler was walking her dog Barney along Walcott beach and past the Poacher's Pocket pub on January 6.

It has been said that Barney, a 12-year-old Staffy, was attacked by the pub's dog, Oscar, leaving him with serious cuts to his ears.

Barney was taken to the vets where he required stitches and sedation at the cost of £800.
