Councillors at North Norfolk District Council are set to make a decision next week on plans for nine new homes in High Kelling, near Holt - and officers have called for them to be approved.

But the proposal, which was submitted by Mark Forster, had sparked outrage in the local community with more than 40 objections lodged against the bid.

Many are concerned about the access to the site, off Heathfield Road, as it will require the future occupiers to use Avenue Road to get on to the A148.
