The event, in North Walsham's Memorial Park, will run from 9am to 1pm on Sunday, April 12 giving buyers four hours to browse a wide range of stalls.

Buyers can enter for free, and parking is available at North Walsham High School.

Sellers are invited to set up their pitches at no cost. They can enter via Happisburgh Road at 8am and can exit via Farman Avenue from 1pm.

North Walsham Town Council, which is organising the sale, said visitors can expect everything from bric-a-brac and books to toys, clothes and household items, alongside the usual mix of one-off curiosities.

The car boot sale will run again on May 10, June 14, July 12, August 2, September 13 and October 11.

Although there is no cost to take part, donations towards new play equipment for the park are encouraged.

"We look forward to seeing you there," a spokesman for the council said.
