It broke out in the roof of a restaurant at Oulton Broad North Railway Station at around midnight.

Firefighters from Lowestoft North, Lowestoft South, Reydon and Southwold and Halesworth attended alongside other crews from Norfolk, who started to leave the scene at around 6am.

All activity on the railway line has been stopped, and police closed roads, including Bridge Road, for several hours.

Roads are starting to reopen as crews start dampening down the site, but people are still being warned to avoid the area if possible due to congestion of emergency service vehicles.
