According to reports, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh usually stay at Wood Farm over Easter.

But Mr Mountbatten-Windsor did not move out until Easter Monday, meaning they had to spend the holiday elsewhere.

The former royal was whisked away to Norfolk after being served notice on his last property, Royal Lodge in Windsor, where he lived with ex-wife Sarah Ferguson.

It came at the same time as he was stripped of his royal titles as his friendship with the paedophile Jeffrey Epstein continued to cause controversy for his family.
