On the third and final day of Argentina Week, the country’s investment roadshow in Paris, Economy Minister Luis Caputo, together with Cabinet Chief Diego Santilli, announced the launch of Argentina’s Citizenship by Investment Program.

“The initiative is part of the process of international opening and integration being promoted by Argentina, together with reforms aimed at strengthening the investment climate and encouraging the arrival of capital,” Caputo explained at the Argentine Embassy in France.

He also said the program would incorporate “due diligence, financial transparency and risk management standards” aligned with the recommendations of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the Financial Action Task Force (FATF).

The minister also stressed that the government had received advice from a group of leading international firms specializing in investment migration to “ensure the adoption of international best practices.”
