Modi Receives Uzbekistan’s Highest Honour, India-Uzbekistan Ties Elevated

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday (August 30, 2026) was conferred with Uzbekistan’s ‘Oliy Darajali Do’stlik’ Order, the country’s highest honour, from Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in Tashkent.
“Honoured to receive the ‘Oliy Darajali Do’stlik’ Order. I dedicate this to the enduring bond between India and Uzbekistan,” Modi said in a post after the award ceremony.
Modi is on a two-day official visit to the country.
