Do you think people even realize they live with it every day?

Do they even remember what it was like to not live in their world of hypocrisy?

Does it even bother them?

It used to bother me. A lot.

Before I made a conscious decision to live every day with integrity, these questions gnawed at me. I realize sometimes it’s difficult to live with integrity and be true to your core values, if you even have any. I know because I used to not care. One day, I don’t know why or when, it started to bother me. I would say one thing and do another without even blinking an eye. It’s a painful existence once you finally grow up and realize the damage you have caused to yourself and others.

The world we live in swims in hypocrisy. I think it’s fair to say it is drowning in it. Reporters demand accountability from everyone else, but somehow can’t escape their own victimhood whenever they are called out on the very same ethical conundrums they rail against. Politicians are even worse. The current blowup of Eric Swalwell’s career is case in point Exhibit A, but he is far from the only member of congress who is awash in hypocrisy. I will save that for another day.

I don’t really want to write about much today except to concentrate on one point. Let’s start with the prevailing narrative the whole planet seems to be caught up in. Having in mind a large chunk of the world truly believes the Jews are manipulating the most powerful country on earth, as well as the most powerful man in the world, do any of them ever think about what that would entail? Is Donald Trump so pathetic of a man that he can be so easily manipulated? Has that been the American experience of life with Donald Trump up to this point? Is this man so easily manipulated that he would stake the lives of Americans on the demands of Israel and the Jews?

When I listen close to the likes of Megyn Kelly, Glenn Greenwald as well as others on either side of the spectrum, I don’t know if its a lack of awareness, empathy or purposeful ignorance, but if I was to be generous I would offer that blind hatred is clouding their judgement. All of them will criticize Israel and then say something like, “Iran is not an imminent threat to America. This is Israel’s war and they are responsible for dragging us into it. I agree Iran is evil and they can’t have a nuclear weapon, but this is not our business,” or something that goes that way. My question is, which one of them are willing to put themselves in Israel’s shoes? Have they even for a moment considered what it is like to be us?

I’m not making the argument that America should be fighting for us. That’s an American decision they have to make for themselves. What I am saying is let’s take pundits statements at face value and decipher them for a moment. Iran is evil and cannot be allowed to possess nuclear weapons. By the way, I am not talking about the truly idiotic like Dave Smith who has a TikTok education on the subject and believes Iran should be able to posses nuclear weapons. People like that are not serious thinkers blessed with a ton of depth. I’ll revisit the issue in a subsequent post. Staying on point, however, everyone acknowledges that should Iran become an imminent threat to America, they would need to be dealt with because of how evil and dangerous they are. Which brings me to the point I am trying to make here. Israel is being decimated in the press for continuing to attack Lebanon during this ceasefire. Iran, in fact, made a big deal out of saying they wanted a ceasefire with Lebanon and Hamas which they included in some kind of regional nonsense stipulation. Why is Lebanon relevant to Iran? How is what’s happening in Beirut their problem? Are any one of these brilliant “experts” or “reporters” able to think on their own? Do they not see that what is happening on our borders here in Israel is exactly the imminent threat they would want America to respond to?

But let’s dig a little deeper and get to the hypocrisy. To anyone paying attention who has a modicum of self-respect, it is obvious that both Hezbollah and Hamas are arms of the same octopus in Tehran. They are funded, supplied, counseled, directed, and as evidenced by Iran’s demands, protected by Iran. Fact is, Lebanon is occupied by a foreign country and it’s not Israel. All you have to do to confirm that what I’m saying is correct is to go back a few weeks when Lebanon kicked the Iranian ambassador out of their country and both Hezbollah and Iran said, no, he’s not going anywhere. He is still in Lebanon.

When you break it all down to its core, Iran is by definition, also occupying the Gaza Strip which the world refuses to even consider. Hamas is the occupying force in Gaza and as an extension of Iran, they should be treated the same. Their goals are the same, their oppression is the same, their deceit is the same and their tactics are the same. Therefore, any reasonable person would surmise, if Iran were an imminent threat to America, and everyone acknowledges they must be destroyed or at the very least incapable of reconstituting their nuclear and ballistic missile programs, then so too must their accomplices. Everyone also admits they are a repressive theocratic regime which rules by force and coercion. By extension wouldn’t the same apply to their proxies? What am I missing here? As recently as Thursday Iran emphasized alignment between themselves and Hezbollah. Yet the world continues to lecture us about poor Hamas and Hezbollah and how Israel is a land-grabbing, baby-killing, famine-loving behemoth who wants to control not only the Middle East but the world entire. Hypocrisy has no shame. Are we to believe Hezbollah is different than their sponsors? Is that what the world is telling us? Surely they consider Hamas different even if Hamas and Iran don’t. If that was the case, why would Iran beg to spare them both? See, what anyone who has a special disdain for the Jewish state will never care to admit, is that indeed they are exactly the same as their Iranian sponsors. To paraphrase Hamlet, and therein, as they say, lies the rub.

So what would happen next if the world suddenly called out the obvious instead of the usual, ie, the Jews? In a sane world, there would be a demand for accountability.

In a sane world there would be an expectation of agency from the perpetrators of the actual crimes.

In a sane world people would be calling for an end to the constant state of war once and for all by simply allowing Israel to finish the job.

In a sane world every piece of information coming from these charlatans would be viewed with suspicion instead of being swallowed whole by an ignorant public with barely a whimper of pushback.

But that’s in a sane world.

Last night, any hope for a sane world evaporated once more as the President of the United States stopped Israel cold again by announcing a ten-day ceasefire in Lebanon. One of the stipulations from what I am told is Lebanon commits to taking steps to dismantle Hezbollah over the next ten days. So what they haven’t done over the last two decades they’re going to do in the next week and a half? In the meantime the north of Israel will still have an anvil over its head because we weren’t allowed to finish what they started. In a sane world someone would point out that no significant war ever ended through negotiations. It only ended through defeat and surrender.

But that’s in a sane world.

I agree with all of those who hate war. We have experienced it first hand here. Neighbors have lost spouses, children and friends. We live through it here, suffer the blows, and sadly are forced to move on almost immediately. Time waits for no man. But we also want an end to war once and for all. We want to live in peace and quiet. We want to once again fill the streets with music and song, laughter and joy. We have had enough of the sadness and tears. Because we want to be done with war, we must be allowed to finish one. The last two and a half years we have been involved and had the upper hand to the point of surrender on three different fronts. Hamas, Hezbollah and now twice with Iran. Four different times we were days/weeks away from getting rid of the problem forever and four different times we have been stymied. Four different times we have been told to stop. Four different times we have been unconsciously telling our children they will have to endure more sirens, more missiles, more massacres, more bloodshed, more incursions into our homes, G-d forbid, because the world is choosing to let evil survive. Four different times we have given evil a lifeline. Why not let us finish the war they all started? Have we not sacrificed enough of our bravest and finest? We need to let warriors do what they’re trained to do and watch Hashem do the rest.

The soldiers of the IDF are the best in the world and the debt of gratitude the entire Jewish people the world over owes to them can never be repaid. They are true warriors of Hashem and the leaders of our people. I include the Israeli Air Force who the Americans just found out first hand, have no equal. An American Air Force pilot with 25 years in the service flying in three wars had this to say about the IAF”: “I flew over Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya. I thought I had seen it all. Then I saw what the Israeli Air Force is doing in Iran and I understood that I am a mere student.

200 aircraft in one night.

1,500 kilometers away.

No aerial refueling from USA bases.

All fuel from Israel.

All weapons from Israel.

It’s like flying from Miami to New York, bombing targets, and to return with 200 planes flying at the same time, with zero collisions.

To the Israeli pilots: You aren’t just the best in the Middle East. You are the best in the world. Period.”

“The L-RD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.” (Exodus 14:14) The entire world witnesses this and instead of acknowledging that what is happening is beyond normal with obvious help from G-d, they instead berate, shame, and quite frankly, hate.

I am reminded of something I heard basketball player Aaron Mckie relay in the name of his Hall of Fame College Basketball Coach, John Cheaney. Coach Cheaney said, “My grandfather walked ten miles to work everyday, my father walked five.

I’m driving a Cadillac, my son is in a Mercedes, my grandson will be in a Ferrari,

but my great-grandson will be walking again.”

Aaron asked him “Why is that, Coach?”

Coach Cheaney responded, “Tough times create strong men.

Strong men create easy times.

Easy times create weak men.

Weak men create tough times.

We need to raise warriors.”

Weak men have created tough times around the globe. They are destined to let the wicked survive again and mark my words, they will curse the day they had their chance and chose to side with evil. The western world no longer has the stomach for victory. Easy times have created weak men around the world. War doesn’t play well on social media or television. Of course, Russia and Ukraine have been going at it approaching four years now, but I guess the death of their citizens matters far less than the death of Muslims at the hands of Jews. Actually anyone at the hands of the Jews. Want to get the Russia/Ukraine war to end or any other war for that matter? Have the Jews get involved.

The world will ceasefire it right quick.

Weak men create tough times. Strap up. Tough times have arrived.

I echo the words of the Psalmist which I happened to say this morning. “Let sinners cease to be on this earth, and let the wicked be no more.” (Psalm 104:35)
