Pakistan is one of the most vulnerable countries to natural disasters, even though it contributes less than 1 percent of global greenhouse gas emissions, yet it remains one of the worst affected as the environment is shared, but is climate the only reason behind the catastrophe or is this disaster also human induced

Floods in Pakistan are not merely natural calamities brought by climate change, they are also a result of governance failures, highlighting weak institutions, poor planning, policy negligence, and a lack of climate adaptation

Pakistan has a harsh history with floods, with the 2010 and 2022 floods being the worst, causing billions of dollars in losses, large scale displacement, and significant loss of lives, these floods not only cause temporary damage but also leave permanent scars on the affected communities and the economy
