British chef Charles Withers was accused Wednesday of ghosting his pregnant wife while working for “Yellowstone” co-creator Taylor Sheridan.

Withers, who appeared in an episode of “Chopped,” was accused of abandoning his pregnant wife, Ashley McGuire, and their children just days before Sheridan’s wife Nicole shared a video on social media featuring the chef. Nicole Sheridan quickly removed the video from her social media accounts. But not before TikTok users realized what was happening, according to the Daily Mail.

Wither’s disappearance was first brought to the attention of internet users by McGuire, who posted a damning account of what she’s allegedly experienced as his wife. “Last year, when I was pregnant with our youngest baby [Charles] decided being a husband and a dad wasn’t the lifestyle he wanted anymore and he ghosted,” McGuire told followers in a now-viral post that she deleted shortly after sharing.

McGuire told a local radio station that she drove herself to the hospital to deliver hers and Wither’s baby alone, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported. Now that the internet has located Withers, allegedly at Sheridan’s home, McGuire is moving forward with a divorce.

Along with his wife and two children, Withers also allegedly abandoned his career at the C Salt Wine Bar and Grille in Falmouth, Massachusetts, the Daily Mail added. He then went to rehab before doing a similar thing to another restaurant. (RELATED: ‘Yellowstone’ Creator Bought A $320 Million Ranch. Here’s What You Should Know)

“He drove the business into the ground, then he just left,” a former co-owner told the Daily Mail. “‘He owed me and my husband a lot of money. Then he just left.” The owner also accused Withers of having a “drug problem.”

“We were contacted by his parents and they were doing an intervention, trying to save his life. He took investors’ money. It never opened.” (RELATED: Taylor Sheridan Has An ‘Unusual’ Level Of Power That Is Apparently Pissing Off Paramount Execs)

Wither’s attorney at the time confirmed the story to the Daily Mail. “I was totally flabbergasted by what happened. It was a mystery what was going on in his head. We were supposed to close on that second restaurant, and then he was gone, and I haven’t seen him since.”

A woman who Withers apparently matched with on Bumble told her that he was working as a private chef in two Texas towns where Sheridan has homes. Their conversations did not lead to any type of date.
