Why Are Sports Teams Celebrating Kwanzaa When Black Americans Are Into Christmas Like Rest Of Us?
First off, I hope everybody had a good Christmas, just wanted to say that as I start to shake off holiday mode as New Year’s approaches. But while I do that and while we’re still in the holidays, let me talk about something that quite frankly irks me.
So, while I was scrolling down my timeline earlier today on Twitter, I happened to see a sports team put up a post celebrating Kwanzaa. And then I saw two, then three, four, five, six, oh yeah, the Kwanzaa celebration was real Friday.
