ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith Crushed With Boos During First Night Of WrestleMania

Ahh, you gotta love WrestleMania weekend, unless you’re Stephen A. Smith.

It’s that time of the year again, with the legendary event being held in Las Vegas for a second consecutive year, specifically in Allegiant Stadium. Night 1 was a success Saturday night, and WWE will do it all over again Sunday. (RELATED: Just Bring Back The ‘Skins: Commanders Fail All Of America After Walking On Eggshells With New Uniforms)

The event kicked off with a three-man tag team match that saw Austin Theory, Logan Paul and streamer iShowSpeed take on Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso and LA Knight, and it was a pretty solid match. Things ended with Speed putting Paul threw an announcer’s table, the exact move that Paul did to music star Jelly Roll during WWE‘s SummerSlam Premium Live Event.

Fans were absolutely loving it, and prior to WrestleMania moving on to the next bout that saw Jacob Fatu and Drew McIntyre square off, they gave a number of celebrities some on-air treatment, which included Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton and San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle, and beer.

With that being said, fans were NOT loving it when ESPN superstar Stephen A. Smith showed up on the jumbotron, crushing his heart and soul with a wave of boos.

I think Stephen A. deserves some credit for his reaction … why get bummed out about it when you can just be a heel? (It’s wrestling after all)
