Vivian Williams is a lady who has worked at the Buckhorn Lodge, Buckhorn Day Care, Lakefield Day Care.

She’s a lady who has cleaned many homes, a lady who has known the present mayor and wife since they were children, a lady who has seven great grandchildren, a lady who has collected liquor bottles and loved it as it gave her time to see others, a lady who loves talking with others and others love her back. “That lady” recently celebrated her 90th birthday.

Williams started in Bracebridge. She was married at 17 and had 4 children — Rodney, Raymond, Carolyn and Marilyn. They were burned out of their Bracebridge home in 1953, moved to Gravenhurst, then Kearney, next Indian River, and finally to Buckhorn.

Vivian Williams recently celebrated her 90th birthday. More than 150 people came to her party at the BCC to help celebrate.

Through it all she raised a family. Presently, she has 12 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, seven........
