The New Horizons Bands — the Green, Jubilee, Allegro, Skylark and Odyssey Concert Bands —- will be presenting their Spring Winds concert on Friday, May 29 at 7 p.m. at Living Hope Church, 1 Consumers Place, doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $20, free for children 10 years and under, and are available at the door, cash only, or from a band member.

Concert proceeds will be shared with Community Care and canned goods will be collected for donation to Kawartha Food Share. 

Everyone is welcome to come learn and play with them — those of all ages and players of all band instruments, beginner or returning musicians. They will be hosting an information day for anyone interested in joining one of their five bands on Monday, May 25 from 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Living Hope Church, 1 Consumers Pl. Visitors will see and hear an explanation of what the group has to offer, and there will be demonstrations of instruments by........
