Home of corner shop fetches £56,000 at auction
The site that currently trades as the Boundary Corner Shop was sold on Wednesday.
Before bidding began, experts at Auction House East Anglia gave it a guide price of between £50,000 and £60,000.
Its location was a key draw, as it is set in a busy parade of businesses in Aylsham Road.
A spokeswoman explained it is currently let on a seven-year lease, dated March 6, 2025.
According to the valuation office website, the building has a rateable value of £5,400, with effect from April 1.
Because of this, it was dubbed "an ideal purchase for an investor looking for a high-yielding commercial investment".
