New Delhi: Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) captain KL Rahul is all in readiness to feature for his team in the IPL 2024 after getting the necessary clearance from the National Cricket Academy (NCA). The wicketkeeper batter has been advised against wicket-keeping in the initial LSG games. Rahul has long dealt with his quadricep strain which he also felt during the first Test against England in Hyderabad.

He was expected to join the team back by the third Test but he felt a tightness in his muscles and missed all the remaining games. The right-hand batter recently posted a snippet of his batting, and basic drills while wicketkeeping and outfielding practice at the NCA. Apart from a few dismal outings, Rahul has proven himself to be a batting stalwart for Team India and his IPL franchise as well.
