Russia launches 'Rocket of Dreams' from Baikonur Cosmodrome

New Delhi: The Soyuz MS-28 rocket carrying three crew members to the International Space Station (ISS) lifted off from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan at 14:27 hours Baikonur Time. On board the spaceship were Mission Commander Sergey Kudsverchkov, and Flight Engineers Chris Williams and Segei Mikaev. The trio are headed to the ISS for an eight month long mission. This is the first flight for Williams and Mikaev, while it is the second one for Kudsverchkov. The three will return to the Earth in the summer of 2026.
