Strait Of Hormuz Open For All Commercial Shipping: Araghchi

Iranian foreign minister Abbas Araghchi has announced that the Strait of Hormuz is open for all shipping till the end of ceasefire deadline.

In a tweet on Friday, the Iranian FM wrote that in line with the ceasefire in Lebanon, the passage for all commercial vessels through Strait of Hormuz is declared completely open.

In line with the ceasefire in Lebanon, the passage for all commercial vessels through Strait of Hormuz is declared completely open for the remaining period of ceasefire, on the coordinated route as already announced by Ports and Maritime Organisation of the Islamic Rep. of Iran.

Earlier, the Speaker of the Parliament in Iran Ghalibaf had welcomed the ceasefire in Lebanon and thanked Pakistan and its Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir for their mediating efforts that helped bring about the ceasefire.
