The Marie Colvin Journalists’ Network (MCJN), the only UK-registered charity dedicated to supporting Arab women journalists, has launched a week-long match-funding campaign in partnership with The Big Give Trust.

The initiative aims to raise £10,000 to provide vital mentorship, trauma counselling, and professional development for its 350 members, many of whom report from some of the world's most dangerous conflict zones.

Executive director Philippa Nairn says the initiative comes as global funding for media and gender equality projects faces severe cutbacks.
