Scottish columnist predicts united front of Celtic nations will cause UK to break up
Herald columnist Neil Mackay has predicted the United Kingdom will break up under pressure from a united front of nationalist parties in Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales. His comments came as First Minister John Swinney told The Herald the world has “moved on” from Sinn Féin’s controversial links to the Irish Republican Army.
