Mother in row with council over 'hazardous' walking route for school children
Emma Daniels lives in Cley with her 13-year-old son Jacob who attends Sheringham High School.
To get to the school, teenagers have to take a Coasthopper bus in the morning at a well-lit stop in the village centre, and a school bus back in the afternoon.
However, the afternoon drop-off point is close to the entrance of the Norfolk Wildlife Trust's Cley Marshes reserve, which is around a 25-minute walk away.
This includes walking along a rural coastal path, which has been described as "hazardous" in extreme conditions on a sign by the wildlife trust, as well as crossing the A149 twice.
