Emergency operation as fractured pipe sparks beach sewage fears
Anglian Water workers have been pumping wastewater away in tankers to avoid sewage leaking out onto the beach at Mundesley for a number of days.
The spill was found close to the village's volunteer inshore lifeboat station, which had risked hampering the use of its boat for rescues, but it is understood it has not caused any issues.
Paston Road has been closed so investigations can take place and the necessary repairs are made.
One villager said workers are pumping sewage from the beach up to the top of the cliffs........
