Dereham Lions was founded in 1972 and has hosted a range of fundraising events, including afternoon teas, car boot sales, fun days, and quiz nights.

However, a lack of volunteers and members getting older has forced the group to call it a day.

Jenny Canham, treasurer of Dereham Lions, said it had been an "uphill struggle" and the group could "no longer continue".
