The Wells Carnival, which has been held for more than 100 years, ran between July 31 and August 9.

Locals and visitors enjoyed a packed programme of activities, including live music, craft fairs, contests, and family entertainment.

This built up to Carnival Day, featuring a parade around the town with floats and fancy dress.
