New floating sound baths sell out as wellness trend grows

But for many, the chance to drift across a swimming pool while listening to the gentle hum of crystal singing bowls has become the latest wellness experience they can't get enough of. 

Sarah Le Mercier, 43, of Duchy Holistics, launched her floating sound baths in Bacton in August and has already filled every September session, with future bookings still coming in.

The holistic therapist believes the growing trend in wellbeing and alternative therapies is helping to drive demand. 

"I think some people come to it because it's a trend, but then they experience it and feel the benefits for themselves," she said.

Ms Le Mercier first began training in holistic therapies in 2020 and qualified in 2023.
