Lorry driver wins £65k High Court case to stop house being built next door
Paul Knights, a lorry driver, forked out more than £65,000 to take on South Norfolk Council in court after it approved plans for a new two-storey dwelling just four metres from his home in Gillingham.
He argued that the proposal, being put forward by his next-door-neighbours, would block a “significant” amount of daylight from entering his lounge and make his home “feel like a prison”.
