Approval for new homes at former school site in holiday hotspot
The development at the former Sedgeford Primary School in Ringstead Road will see the 19th-century building and adjoining headteacher’s house converted into eight flats, alongside 12 newly built houses.

The school closed in 2020 due to dwindling pupil numbers and was later purchased by Norfolk County Council in 2023, with the intention of redeveloping the site through its council-owned development firm, Repton Property Developments.
At a West Norfolk Council planning meeting on Monday, councillors and parish representatives raised ongoing concerns about parking provision, road safety and pressure on local infrastructure.
