Row erupts between tenant and housing association over flooded bungalow

Alison Lailey, 44, says the house in Moulton St Mary was contaminated with sewage during the incident - but the landlord Clarion Housing has rejected the allegation.

She says she was forced to move out of the property on Acle Road after waking on May 10 to find water ankle-deep throughout the home she shares with her 14-year-old daughter.

“I thought my daughter was in the shower,” she said. “I got out of bed and I was wading through water. It was just awful - it had sewage in it.”

But Clarion disputes that sewage........
