Great Yarmouth Borough Council said around 10 metres of land have been lost to the sea, with a further 14 homes now deemed at imminent risk of collapse.

Demolition of the affected properties will continue this week.

A council spokesperson said: “We strongly encourage any residents with concerns to speak to the team - even if you are not immediately affected by the recent erosion.

“They are there to listen, provide guidance and offer reassurance during what remains a difficult time.”
