Walk-ins only! How restaurants are profiting from not taking bookings
Now restaurants appear to be following suit, with a growing number of venues no longer taking bookings.
And what's more, the owners of these walk-in only establishments say their customers are prepared to wait.
The bosses of some of Norwich’s newest and most popular venues say dining habits have changed, particularly among Gen Z, who crave casual dining experiences over silver service.

None of their venues – other than the Weavers Arms on Sundays - accept bookings, which they say has helped boost profits by enabling them to turn over tables faster, while also stopping people from booking tables and not turning up on the night.
Each of their restaurants has its own theme - from pizza to pasta and steak to chicken – and they keep their menus small, with minimal or no desserts at........
